There really are so many water fun activities to enjoy. More fun, more water skills and more healthy exercise all the family can enjoy; even if it's only by offering encouragement from the poolside!

Heated Outdoor Pool

NEW for 2009, Quay West can boast a superb new outdoor pool complex. Offering hours of water fun and spectacular views over the sea, you can also relax and enjoy a drink on the terrace while watching the fun in the SplashZone below.

Family "It's a Knockout"

TV's "It's a Knockout", as you may recall, was originally "Jeux sans Frontieres", which roughly translates as "fun without limits". This is exactly the case with Haven's very own wetter and wilder version. Chaos and craziness go right off the deep end when this free pool-based activity gets under way, with families given whacky things to do. It's sensational theatre and entertainment just to watch, but even more exciting for the brave families who take the plunge.

Water Walkerz*

Big clear globes that you climb inside, the idea being that you "walk" around the pool (like a hamster in a wheel). Hilarious & frantic fun!

Learn2Swim*

A professional programme approved by the Swimming Teachers Association (STA). It aims to get children (or adults) swimming. Haven teaches 100,000 children to Swim with its Learn2Swim programme. There are 5 levels of achievement, with certificates awarded accordingly on completion.

Fun Inflatables*

Kids really look forward to the moment when the giant fun inflatable appears. It's so much like a party atmosphere we call them our Giant Pool Inflatable Parties. Everyone's invited. It's another great way we make even water more fun at Haven.

AquaJets*

Get the feel and excitement of exploring the underwater world. These funky, fun-sized powered submersibles pull you through or under the water, with a fish-like ability to turn, twist or dive. Participants must be able to swim 25m unaided and be 8yrs+.

Aqua Gliders*

Looking like a jet-ski and behaving like a bumper car, these mini-motorised inflatables enable you to scoot around the pool. You can play it cool or go on the attack, making sure your friends or family are in for a bumpy ride. Suitable for 5-8yrs wearing a life vest, and suitable for 8yrs+ who can swim 25m unaided.

Surf Rider*

The Surf Rider is a multi-activity teaching programme that covers a range of water-based skills and abilities in a controlled pool environment that will be of great use and benefit in exciting sea-based activities. Helping swimmers gain confidence and ability, encouraging them to further explore the thrill and excitement of the real thing. Certificates are awarded on completion of each level verifying competency.

Please Note

For access, Children under 8 and non-swimmers under 14 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult. An adult may be responsible for only 2 children under 8 at any one time. Non-swimmers and beginners must not go out of their depth, and wearing approved swimming aids is highly recommended.
