The Tommy's Parent Friendly Awards recognise organisations who provide higher levels of service to parents and are voted by parents for parents each year. Tommy's, the baby charity has been running the Parent Friendly Awards since 1995 and have become a driving force for change and improvement in services for parents with young children.

Haven Holidays have years of experience in welcoming families and do everything they can to make holidays happy for parents with young children. That's why Haven has been nominated again this year in Tommy's Awards. 

Here's why we deserve your vote

Every parent knows the patter of tiny feet changes your life forever….and most new parents really appreciate advice and recommendations from other parents.

Which is why it’s so important that a recognised charity such as Tommy’s highlights really ‘parent friendly’ organisations – especially as their award winners are voted for by parents with young children.

And it’s not just easy pram access or good baby changing facilities – it’s genuinely making it fun for families. A Haven Holiday is perfect for little ones and great for children of all ages – and with plenty to keep everyone happy Mums and Dads can relax too! 

PAW’s club is specially aimed at 1-4 year olds with lots of fun activities from making things to making music – but toddler-friendly fun doesn’t stop at here! There are indoor soft play areas, outdoor play parks and heated indoor swimming pools with splash areas perfect for tinies. You can even take part in Water Baby sessions to encourage water confidence – or Learn2Swim lessons. Check out the parks with a separate ‘SplashZone’ where kids can enjoy water fun in complete safety.

‘Family Friendly’ service in restaurants and café bars means plenty of high chairs available, bibs and wipes,
bottle-warming and colouring sheets with crayons to keep little ones amused. The ‘Healthy Options’ menu for juniors provides well balanced and tasty meals designed to appeal to youngsters.

In 2008 Haven are encouraging kids to make a healthy choice with the ‘Kids Alive’ scheme…..so whenever they choose foods that are good for them …or take part in sports and activities they’ll get their special ‘Kid’s Alive’ passport stamped. Five stamps will earn them a certificate and six or more stamps will qualify them for a medal!

In the evenings, kids are genuinely welcome in the venues – so families can enjoy a night out together without worrying about babysitters. Little ones will love the party dances and early evening shows with Rory the Tiger, Bradley Bear and friends.
