Guests with disabilities

Haven Holidays cater for guests with disabilities, most of our Holiday Parks offer a choice of Special needs accommodation with various modifications.

To ensure your accommodation meets your specific requirements our adapted units need to be booked by one of our Special Needs Advisors at our Call Centre on: 0871 230 1926.

Special Needs features at this Park

We understand that knowing in advance as much as possible about your holiday is essential, especially to those with disabilities.

The Special Needs Advisors at our Call Centre can book a holiday for you based on your specific needs, they can also advise on our special needs features.

• Wheelchair hire
• Access to venues on the Park
• Park layout, such as terrain, car parking etc.
• Medical facilities in the area

Pool Area

Pool areas will provide at least one fully accessible unisex changing area and toilet that meets recognised standards of accessibility.  Wherever it is considered 'reasonable' equipment will be provided to enable disabled people to gain safe access to the pool.  However, any requirement for 'personal assistance' such as manual handling will have to be resourced by the disabled person.

Accessible Public Toilets

Caravan Parks will provide wheelchair accessible toilets that fully meet recognised standards of accessibility and to ensure disabled people are not disadvantaged, the number and location of these units will reflect current guidelines.

Entertainment Venues

Our Venues include facilities accessible for a broad spectrum of disabled guests wherever it is practicable and reasonable to do so.  Where it remains impossible or unreasonably difficult we will still undertake all that is reasonable to increase the accessibility of services by removing as many barriers as possible through the use of auxiliary aids, responsive customer care or amendments to management process.

Adapted Homes with Wheelchair Access

Two bedroom Caravans for disabled guests are available, with good access throughout for wheelchair users with assistance.

Unfortunatley 3 bedroom Adapted Caravans are not available.
Some units feature two single beds rather than a double bed in the master bedroom.

†For maximum occupancy there is a convertible bed in the lounge.
