Somerset

Situated upon a 65 million year old beach, Doniford Bay is the original 'Jurassic Park'. How many fossils will you find whilst rock-pooling. From the Park you can visit a number of villages and castles, or why not explore the underground caverns of Cheddar Gorge. Listen out for the whistle of the North Somerset Steam Railway, which runs closely to the Park.

With the added myths and legends, Somerset like most counties in England has its fair share of stories to tell, from the myths surrounding King Arthur to the haunted Taunton Castle. 

The Park has adventure too! With its 4 lane multi coloured water slide, children's indoor Fun Palace, there's something for all the family. Doniford Bay's fun and adventure will create those cherished family holiday memories!!!

Living History

Neighbouring Watchet and its 1000 year old harbour offers real life tales of Pirates and Smuggling.  The village is within easy walking distance of the Park and is a great day out for all the family.

Dunster's Medieval village and Castle offers adventure for all the family.  Can you spot the Cannonball holes in the roof?

If you like walking in the countryside, then Doniford Bay is the place for you.  Watch out for the legendary Beast of Exmoor though!
